Aquariums
are a great way to express yourself if you are a creative person. It is true!
The possibilities for decoration using plants, stones, wood, different types of
sand and other fish
tank coral decorations; they are endless. So once you've done with the
aquarium of the capacity you need, with filter, heater and other basic things,
you can go to the next level: aquarium decoration.
Plants:
It is a fundamental part. The variety of aquarium plants is immense, but the
first decision you must make is whether you will choose to natural or
artificial plants. Natural require more care than artificial, but its
appearance is excellent (if healthy) and positively influence the small
ecosystem in which the aquarium is transformed. Note that you choose plants
need certain lighting.
Earth:
we do not mean the land itself, but to all materials that are in the aquarium.
The substrate must be added different types of sand and gravel, with their
characteristic colors and grain sizes. The goal should be to achieve as similar
habitat to that enjoyed fish in nature, and what is in the background is as
important as plants or lighting.
Stones:
many species of fish need places to hide, especially the night. The stones are
good materials to achieve those hideouts, along with plants and other pieces of
wood. It is very important that you do not pick up stones you like you've seen
on the street because you never know which materials are impregnated and could
harm fish and even plants. Do yourself with them only local expertise in
aquatics!
Wood
as with stones, it is always preferable to choose them in a specialty store.
Tods not include wood aquariums in decor, but those who resort to it often
offer more nooks for privacy fish as well as a more natural and true to the
original habitat of the fish appearance.
There
are other ornaments for decorating
fish tank, not inspired by nature, and they bring a different touch to
the aquarium even at the cost of realism. The possibilities are limitless!
